Morgan City Wash - Renegade Paintball
This is a quick and dirty website set up to provide information about Renegade
Paintball games being played at Morgan City Wash in Peoria AZ.
We're currently meeting every Sunday, 0700,
unless otherwise posted.
Directions:
- Get to Lake Pleasant Road and SR74 (aka the Carefee Highway). This is
just north of the
Wild Horse.
- Go west on SR74 towards Lake Pleasant. You're going to go about three
miles.
- You'll pass the entrance to Lake Pleasant Harbor on the right. Keep going.
- After you pass the Lake Pleasant entrance you'll cross over a canal.
This warns you that you're getting there.
- After you pass the canal you'll rise up a little as you go through a
notch in a mountain.
- After the notch you will see a guard rail on the left
side of the road and you'll see a road going off on the right side. The road
on the right is marked by two white columns. You will be turning
LEFT at the end of the guard rail, almost directly across from the white
columns. Be very careful turning here! (I know from personal
experience.
)
- To be CRYSTAL CLEAR, there is no paved road at this point, you are
diving right off of the road into dirt, and it's a minor incline.
- As soon as you come off the road you'll be able to see us, now you've
got to get to us.
- In front of you is a fence. Go left and follow the dirt road around it.
You'll follow it almost to the canal (a different one than the one you saw
in #4) and then you'll u-turn around the fence and head back west.
- Follow the road along the fence line and continue west. There's one spot
where you might think "hey wait, I can't go down that." Well yes you can and
you'll be fine.
- Once you are in the same general area as the other vehicles use
whichever dirt road you'd like to get over and park. Do NOT go down a second
spot where you think "wait I can't go down that," as you'll be right, you
can't. (This too I know from personal experience. sigh)
